About:Beijing Attractions

Hi -

I am traveling through Beijing next week. Unfortunately I only have a day and a half. Would you recommend that I stay in the city, or should I make the trek to the Great Wall? I would like to see the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, but since I don't land in Beijing until mid-afternoon on the day I arrive it appears I will have to choose between either attraction. If you had to decide between the two, which would you choose?

If we decide to stay in the city, how much time should we allocate for the Forbidden city? Also, what would be your other "must-see" sight if we stay in the city?

Thank you for your time. Happy Holidays.

Hi, Mr.Greg, you may choose a hotel in Wangfujing area which is close to the Forbidden City. And you may visit other must see sites, like Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heave, Summer Palace (if you have enough time).
