I am planning to fly to Macau and take a long distance bus / train to Xiamen. Can anyone tell me what's the best option? Thanks a lot in advance.

You should get to Gongbei from Macau first and then take long-distance bus at Gongbei Bus Station to Xiamen. It takes 12 hours and leaves at 18:00 and 18:50. Other option, fly to Xiamen from Macau.

Thanks for your info, Ms. Liv. T think i'll go for the first option. By the way, how long does it take to go from the Macau Airport to Gongbei Bus Station? Any public transportation available? and do you have any idea how much is the fare from Gongbei to Xiamen? Thank you in advance again.

1. at Macau Airport, you could take the bus AP1 to arrive at Gongbei Port firstly. The fare is MOP4.2 and the journey will take you about one hour.

2.Walk through the Gongbei Port, you will find the bus station easily. There are two buses departing from here to Xiamen everyday, respectively at 18:00 and 18:50. It will take you about 12 hours on the way.
