About:Getting to Macau

hello, we will be arriving at hk airport 7:40 am, and would like to go straight to macao, any suggestion for the cheapest and fastest way to go there? i heard china ferry terminal is the cheapest way to go to macao by ferry, what bus no. will we take to go there? thank you

By ferry, the only way. Yes, China ferry terminal has cheaper, nearly 140HKD (215HKD from HKIA to Macau), but it take one hour from the airport to China ferry terminal then another hour to Macay, only approximately 50 minutes from HKIA's Sky Ferry to Macay. no direct bus from the airport to China Ferry Terminal. The eheapest way is take bus S1 to Tung Chung and then change to MTR to Lai King and then Tsuen Wan Line to Tsim Sha Tsui. Walk to the ferry terminal. The total fare is about 20HKD.

one more question is kowloon city ferry pier where china ferry dock? i heard from a friend of mine he take a bus from hong kong airport going to ma oh san, and the bus pass thru the china ferry pier ( china hongkong city)????

You mean bus A41P from HKIA to Ma On Shan in Sha Tin. No, it does not pass China Ferry Terminal at all. I confirm this from the city bus website.

hanks jason for this info, i have researched your route, it seems we have to walk very far from the mtr station to the ferry, any info on how far and how long will it take us to walk over there? tnx
