About:Hong Kong Visa Application

I would like to visit Hong Kong for a week for leisure. My proposed dates of travel are around First - Second Week of Jan 2010.

I am Indian Passport holder and I have a UAE residence Visa as I work here in UAE. I am given to understand that for Indian Nationals visiting Hong Kong for a tourism / visit purposes not exceeding 14 days no prior Visa is required instead its given on arrival provided the tourist has a confirmed return ticket.

I would like to check with you if my understanding is correct and I do not need any Visa for one week's visit to Hong Kong.

Please also note that my Passport expiry date is 11 June 2010 so my passport will be valid for 5 months when I will arrive in Hong Kong. Are there any requirements for the validity of Passport?

Grateful if you could please confirm the above.

You understanding is correct, you don't need a prior visa to Hong Kong for less than 14 days and a visa will be given to you on arrival. The validity of your passport should has 1 month beyond your stay period, so your paspsort is Ok for visiting Hong Kong.
