About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I am a US citizen living in Xian China and just purchased air line tickets for myself and my 2.5 year old son to visit Korea. But I just discovered his Chinese visa is going to expire the day before our flight returns. Can I still bring him and get his visa renewed there at your embassy or get a tourist visa to bring him back with me to Xian on time?

you can't renew his Chinese visa, you have to apply for a new Chinese visa for him at Chinese Embassy in South Korea. Then he can return with you to Xian with his new Chinese visa, he can't enter China with an expired visa.
