Question

My family plans to visit Guangzhou middle of next month for 4 days. Which are places of interest should we visit and which eating places would you recommend? As we'll be travelling on our own, which hotel would you recommend for it's convenient location (easy access to public transport) and reasonable room rate? As there are 5 of us, would it be better to take taxi (can it take 5 persons?) or public transport for short distance? Thank you.

There aren't many places to visit in Guangzhou. YOu may consider Yuexiu Park, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, the Pearl River... The hotel price in Guangzhou is comparatively high, especially the ones in downtown area with convenient transportation. The best way out is the taxi, but it cannot accommodate 5 people. Perhaps you need to take two.
