Shanghai Train Station and Beijing West Train Station all have trains to Mianyang, but it takes a long time: about 24 hours from Beijing and over 33 hours from Shanghai. If you do not want to spend so long time on the train, you can fly to Chengdu and then take train or bus to Mianyang then.0
