About:Hangzhou Weather

I have one week's holiday in December (beginning 20th Dec) with my two teenage sons. Not sure if we should visit Hangzhou (taking in Huangzhan perhaps). Will the place be too windy and bleak and not attractive?

Yes, the weather will be somewhat chilly in Dec. And, the natural beauties there are less charing than in other seasons. Why don't you take the boys to see the Ice and Snow Festival in Harbin?

Thanks very much, Jenni. That's a good suggestion. And my boys will love skiing there too. Do you know if the ski places be packed, and whether the facilities are any good?

The festival starts from every Dec, so you could enjoy the ice and snow sculptures then. According to the latest report, the ski resort of Harbin has been prepared to welcome travelers, thanking for the cold weather in mainland China in this month.
