There are several trains running back and forth between Shanghai and Beijing. The bullet train takes about 10 hours for one way and ticket is 79 dollars for first class seat and 66 dollars for second seat. For the train starts with a T, it takes about 13 hours for one way and ticket is about 70-73 dollars for the soft sleeper berth.
