About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

My friend holds a China passport and she is studying in NTU, Singapore. Her passport will expire in July 2010 and she intends to travel to the US in May 2010 and return in July 2010. Can she renew her passport now? Where can she renew her passport and how long does it take to renew the passport?

Thanks.

She should renew her passport at the China Embassy in Singapore one month before the expiration.
It takes about 1 week.
