About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hello, I am an Australian passport holder and will book an Air China flight from Frankfurt to Sydney. My partner is travelling with me and she holds a Polish passport. Air China advised that we will need to check-in at Pudong. Will we be required to clear customs/immigration, or is all this handled in the transit area. We will not be leaving the airport as both flights are in Terminal 2.

Many thanks
Dwight

Yes, you don't have to leave the transit area, where could finish all of the transit procedures. Don't have to clear customs or immigration at Pudong Airport.
