About:Sanya Attractions

what would be the approxomate cost by taxi for the day tour in Sanya?

We will be visiting Sanya on cruise ship in March 2010 for only the one day. I could take the tours from the ship but was thinking of perhaps hiring a taxi and driver for the day and do our own thing. Are taxis readily accessable from the port and what would be the approxomate cost. Are there any attractions/shopping you recommend

The starting fare is CNY5 or CNY6 within three kilometers and additional CNY1.3 or CNY1.5 per kilometer due to the different types of taxies.
Generally speaking, the fare is CNY5 in the city zone, about CNY8-10 to Dadonghai, CNY 5 to Sanya Bay, and CNY25-30 to Asian Dragon Bay.
confirm the fare with the taxi driver in advance when traveling to different attractions.
Taxi fare at night (01:00-05:00) involves an added 20% on top of the base fare.

Thank you very much for your reply. I appreciate it very much. Unfortunately due to the short time to our cruise and the fact I had no replies I have booked tour though the cruise line.

May I know will you arrive in Phoenix Island Port of SANYA?What time will you reach here? At this stage, no public taxi can access the Phoenix port,but when walking 10 minutes outside of the Phoenix Island, we can pick up you.It's very easy and safe.
