i am traveling from hong kong to dongxing (the town close to vietnam border).

Question

I am traveling from Hong Kong to Dongxing (the town close to Vietnam border). I am told that I can take over night bus at Futian Bus Station.  please advice me how to get to Futian station from Hong Kong. Or if you know other short ways from Hong Kong to DongXing, please let me know.  Also give me information about the cost, schedule, if you know.  Thank you much

Yes, you are right. The bus should be taken in Futian Bus Station. You can take Hong kong mtr from Hung Hom to Lo Wu (33HKD) pass the border and then change to Subway Line 1 from Lo Wu Shenzhen to Zhuzilin. The subway staion of Zhuxilin is connected with the basement of Futian Bus Station. THere seems only one bus everyday, leaving at 19:50 and get to Dongxing (Dynasty Hotel) 13 hours later. The ticket fee is 250RMB. Hope it helps.

Hi Sandy,Thank you for the information. Can you tell me what time does train T7788 leave from Taizhou to Suzhou ? How frequent are bullet trains available from Suzhou to Shanghai ?Is it necessary that I book my tickets now or should I book them at the time of travelling , as I would be travelling around January 7th, 2010.

Hi Sameer,T7788 leaves from Taizhou at 11:30 and arrive in Suzhou at 16:04. There are nearly 30 bullet trains, in addition, T trains and Z trains can take you to Shanghai within one hour also. No need to book ticket now.
