About:Beijing Travel

i am a student female and i am planning to travel through china february - march. i was told this months were the worst to go to china, is that true?
and would you please be so kind to tell me the most important and recomendable (safe) cities to go to?

Feb and Mar is still cold in Beijing, but you can visit the scenic spots and historical sites. If you are afraid the weather, you can choose some other southern cities, like Guilin, Lijiang and Sanya.
