Hi, me and my friend will be travelling to Hongkong from July 14-22,2010. We are 5 in tour and don't really have any idea where to stay and still researching places to visit. With the length pf stay we will have, how much do you think should we prepare,including entrance fees,ferry fares and hotels. By the way, the site is really helpful.

You can see the attractions introduction in this page to choose some places to visit. There are entrace fee info told in every sighseeing page. Hotel expenses is a large part. You should prepare 350HKD per day for one roon and you need at least two, I think. Additionally, 100HKD for food per person. For transportation, suggest you buy a Octupus Card with 150HKD (per person) charged. It will be enough for your your whole stay. Take more money of you want buy something.
