hello! do trains from xian to chengdu only depart every second day?

Hello! Do trains from Xian to Chengdu only depart every second day? If so is there some way of working out which days it will depart? I need to be in Chengdu on the 19th January 2010. All I can find is the departure and arrival times, but not dates. Thanks for your help

No, the train between Xian and Chengdu departs everyday. I suggest you take the trains departing from Xian(three days everyday). When you are in China, you can buy the ticket about 3-7 days in advance.
