About:

Hi, is there a night D train from Shanghai to Beijing...if yes, what are available departure time and arrival time as well as is it daily? tq for any answers

Yes, there are entirly 5 night D trains from Shanghai to Beijing. The trains are leaving from Shanghai Railway Station. You can find a place to stay near the station. Subway Line 1 leads to the train station, you can still live along the line, nearby subway stations.
Here are the arrival &departure time:
D308 (21:13-7:25), D306 (21:18-7:30), D302 (21:23-7:35), D314 (21:28-7:40), D322 (21:38-7:45)

Mr. Zahaimi, I am from S'pore and I had just returned from Beijing. The train service from Shanghai to Beijing is excellent. Just like Japan bullet train, but a lot cheaper and value for money.
There are many fine Muslim restaurants in Beijing.
The Muslim Restaurant sign board in Beijing is always written in green colour.I was in Beijing for a week and half of my meals are muslim food because I love mutton. You should try the Giant size Chinese muslim Satay and Kebab.
The Chinese Muslim food is very delicious.Cheap and good. For snack, you can try eating the Lanzhou Lah Meng (Muslim Uiqur style) Taste like Mee Soto with mutton soup as a base.
