Hi, I'm travelling end of Oct to Beijing without tour package.  I have a 2 year old son.  what kind of clothes should I prepare for my son? should i bring scaf, gloves and thermal wear?I will reach Beijing airport 7am and need to travel to hotel near Tiananmen square.  Will there be morning traffic jam and should i wait till off peak hours in airport to take a cab?It is better to buy individual tour package like great wall, summer palace from beijing hotels or just take a cab and go there to buy tickets?

Usually, there will be no traffic jam from airport to city center, you could take taxi or airport express. 3. I suggest you find a legal travel agency to arrange the tour for you, which should be convenient and economical.
