You must decide what to do in China? Then apply for a proper visa from the China embassy in Thailand. If attending school, apply for a China X student visa; if teach language or do other work, please apply for a China Z work visa.

Greetings Mr. Kevin,

thank you for your quick reply. i understand.

the person is researching schools and may not be registered by the time to travel. does the person need to be registered yet to receive an X Visa?

is full time school required and can they work a little during part time school with an X visa?

if they are required to get a Z Visa is this one of these types more difficult to receive?

about how long may it take to obtain either visa?

where can the forms in Thai be obtained?

thank you for your time and advice.

If apply for X visa, applicants should provide an admission notice from the Chinese school is required
and an approved Foreign Student Visa Application Form (JW101 or JW202) issued by the Chinese authorized unit.
Foreigners studing in China can do part-time jobs during the spare time.
Yes, Z visa needs more documents than L and F visas.
A normal visa process procedure takes 4 working days.
