About:Hong Kong Visa Application

I am a vietnamese holding a student pass in Singapore. Due to my term break in Singapore between 23 Oct 2009 to 09 Nov 2009, I have book a free and easy tour to Hong Kong. Now, I was told that I need a visa for entry to Hong Kong.I have submitted my documents to China Embassy this morning in Singapore and was told to contact the Immigration Chief Officer in Hong Kong.
Problem is I cannot speak well in English or Cantonese so I sent an email to immd.gov.sg|enquiry; and I am really worried if I cannot receive an answer from the Embassy or The Hong Kong Immigration Chief Officer as my departure date is 23 Oct 2009 to 27 Oct 2009.
My graduation Date is 16 December 2009.

Then you can contact the Immigration Department directly by enquiry hotline at (852) 2824 6111 or by fax at (852) 2877 7711.

Hi there, I am a Vietnamese also just went to the China embassy this morning for the application oh HK visa, as I planed my HK trip on 20th Nov. However the officer said that they need at least a month to process and subject to approval which make me stuck in the situation now. Not sure if I can get the visa in time.
