About:Macau Travel

Hi, I am from Malaysia. We are taking our daughters(age 9 & 7) to Macau. I have booked Grandview Hotel and my travel date & time is from 30/11/09(10:15) - 03/12/09(19:50).
Since I have 4D3N, I am thinking to go HK on 2nd day(only day trip)either to Disney Land or Ocean Park. Is it too tight schedule for me since I bring my kids along? What is the best schedule, Terminal and transport for me from Macau-HK and also from HK back to Macau within the same day? And how much is the fares?

TQ.

Yes, it is a bit tight to get around these two places in one day. You can get to Ocean Park first. The opening hour is 10:00am. You can take ferry at Macau Marine Ferry Terminal to HK-Macau Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan. The journey is about one hour. You can consider to take taxi to the parl, which costs about 70-80HKD. Or find MTR station to Admiralty, where Bus 629 can take you to the Ocean Park directly. You may finished the tour in Ocean Park at 4pm at the earliest. Personal opinion, Ocean Park is more funny than Disneyland. These two places are far from each other. You may then get to Disneyland before 6pm and it is closed at 8:00pm. You can take Subway to Tsim Sha Tsui from Disneyland (several transfers) and than take ferry boat from China Ferry Terminal to Macau. The ferry tickets costs 133HKD per person. The two children may enjoy 15HKD off for each. Anyway, one day is not enough. Suggest you stay one night in HK.
