About:Dongguan Travel

Hi,

I'm arriving in HK from South Africa on Oct25 with a friend and would like to get to Dongguan and Guangzhou during our stay. What is the cheapest way of getting around these places? Please also advise on good/cheap shopping spots for clothes, electronics and Chinese food.

Hi, I can help you with the transportation problem. In Hung Hom Station, Kowloon, you can find across border bus to Guangzhou and Dongguan. The ticket fare is about 80HKD to Guangzhou and 60HKD to Dongguan. Transportation between Songguan and Guangzhou is easy too. Buses can be found in main bus stations. The journey is less than one hour.

How easy is it to get to Macau from Hong Kong? Trying to maximise on the trip by squeezing as much as possible in a week.

Is there anything worth going for there besides the usual 'touristy' stuff?
