how far is it to get to the cruise ship from the Panorama Shanghai hotel?

Next year, March 2010, I am going for a cruise for Japan that embarks and disembark in Shanghai. the cruise ship is Legend of the Seas, by the company called " Royal Caribbean". The hotel I am staying is Panorama Shanghai , located at 53 Huang Pu Road , Shanghai. My question is, how far is it, to get to the cruise ship from the hotel. I don`t know where the cruise ship docked or which pier. Can someone tell me. My travel agent said that it will be hours to go to the pier from Huang Pu hotel and charge me 420.00 AUD, for transfers , return for 2 people. which I thought is a bit dear. Can anyone give me an idea about Shanghai ports.
