How many day's Consular Department for Visa in Malaysia close for National holiday?

The embassy hasn't published any notice about this on their official website, maybe they will be off duty from Oct 01 to Oct 08. 2009.

I did get confirmation by Embassy of China officer, they will be close until Oct. 8, but she did not know how many day Visa department will be close
