what should i pack for a tour in china?

What should i pack for a tour in China? I will join a Yangtze River cruise tour in October. How about shoes? Would open sandals be better or would it be better to have shoes that are closed up?

I don’t think there is any restriction on closes you need to wear. T-shirts, pants, open sandals and sport shoes are all right. You just need to wear at your comfort. Anyway, it is your holiday. But, I think October will be a bit cold to wear open sandals.

You will feel quite relaxed on Yangze River cruise, so open sandals will be convenient sometimes. While,for the captain's welcome party or farewell party, you may like to wear much formal. The whether in Oct is very good for touring, not too hot and not too cold. Hope you will enjoy the trip.
