About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi my brother wife has a china passport and is only valid for 4 months. We are travelling to Hong Kong for holiday, just want to check how many months validity is needed to enter Hong Kong.

Also if she wanted to renew or extend her passport validity, where can she go to and how long will it take?
