they traded with rome and greece other eastern empires and civilizations they basically traded with everybody on that continent or in europe and they had nobles and kings and such. there were peasents and some middle class people but there was only one emperor. the nobles and the kings were usually related to the emperor, or he owed them favors there was a lot of infighting as far as the government goes but there was mostly peace throughout the land. it was either the second or third emperor who established the silk road. during the first hundred yrs of the dynasty, there were a lot of nomadic tribes just outside the border of the empire who would raid the towns and settlements along the border. i hope that helped a little. i feel ur pain.
