(First time China train traveler)Looking for advice for a trip to Yunan during National Day holiday.  I plan to take a train from Cili (in Hunan) to Huaihua (also in Hunan) and meet up with friends on the train to Kunming in Huaihua.  I am concerned as the train from Cili to Huaihua arrives at 14:05 and the train to Kunming (which my friends will be on) leaves Huaihua at 14:47.  Is this cutting it too close?  How reliable are the train schedules?  Will the station possibly to crowded to maneuver to a new train in just 30mins?Thanks in advance for the help!!

Not refer to the availability of train tickets during the holiday, 30-40 minutes are just enough for you to connect the next train to Kunming. But you have to take a risk that the train might be late. I guess you will ride the train K267 to Huaihua, right? This is a fast train, but there is still a little possibility that K267 will be late.
