Can you let us know if it would be possible to do an Engineering Tour of the Three Gorges Dam??My father is an electrical engineer and would enjoy seeing the generators inside the dam.

I'm afraid not.The tourists are just allowecd to visit the dam.But maybe when you visit the Dam,you can ask the local guide to tell you sth about it.

You will go through the Five-Step Ship Lock and then take an shore excursion to visit the Three Gorges Dam. And the generators are not allowed to visit.
