Hi. 3 adults & 2 small children desire to travel from Shanghai to Suzhou, Tongli, and Hangzhou this Friday afternoon and return Sunday evening. Please advise an itinerary (order of locations), most convenient modes of transport, amount of time in each location, nice hotels, and your opinion of sites not to miss. Shanghai-hangzhou-tongli-suzhou-shanghaiTake bullet train from Shanghai Railway Station or South Railway Station to Hangzhou (about 1.5 hours).Hangzhou North BUs Statio has buses to Tongli, three buses a day leaving at: 8:25, 11:25, 13:20. Do not need to buy bus ticket in advance, just buy in the same day. There are buses from 6:00-19:30 from TOngli to Suzhou Railway Station every 20-30 minutes. Suzhou railway statio has bullet trains which can take you back to Shanghai 30 minutes later. Time is tight for you. You can only have the time to visit West Lake in Hangzhou, leaving for TOngli Saturday Morning. You can stay one night in TOngli of get to Suzhou at same day before 19:30. Over half a day to see Classic Gardens in Suzhou then back to Shanghai.
