About:Shenzhen Facts

Do we use chinese money (CNY) or do we use us dollars, when we are in china.
What is the weather in Mid Oct./09 in china mainland and hongkong.
We do not have a guide in shenzen, but we have some local sentences in chinese so that the taxi or the locals will understand. Will that be enough to enjoy our one day stay in shenzen- mainly shopping. Then to the Luoho railway station to take a train to honkong. what intervals do the trains run from shenzen luoho station to hong kong.
From honkong, I guess we can take a cab to our hotel.
thank you

You should use Chinese money in China. In mainland China, the weather is getting cool since mid-Oct. Comparatively, the weather is comfortable. Wear Jean, ligth sweater and take a coat with you. Hong Kong is quite warmer then the mainland. T-shirt with a light coat is enough. There is a train from Luohu to Hung Hom every 5-8 minutes.

Yes - definitely use RMB while in China! I live in Dongguan (about 40 minute train ride from Shenzhen) and it is pretty hot in Mid October in my opinion! Depends what you are used to - for me it is rather warm!
Trains are always running from Louhu to Hong Kong - you won't wait longer than 5 minutes!
