About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I am a US Citizen who is planning to visit Hong Kong in October. At this point, I am not sure if I will be visting PRC. However, if I do decide to visit PRC from Hong Kong, is it possible for me to apply for the visa there? Many thanks.

Yes, you can apply for Chinese visa from Hong Kong, but the certainty is not 100%.
