About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I am a Canadian Citizen, married to a Chinese Citizen, living in Beijing. I have business with the Canadian Embassy in November, then would like to travel with my wife for one week in Japan. I will get my entry permit, as usual, when I arrive at Japanese Customs, but my wife will need a visa. I am going to write a letter about this matter, which my wife will use in her Tourist Visa application. My wife is a cosmetic surgeon, and I am a doctor, so I believe we will qualify with respect to annual salary, but I would also appreciate any thoughts or advice readers of this site might have.
