How can I get Great Wall from Beijing Forbidden City

It takes about two hours from Forbidden City to Great Wall. Visitors often take buses to the wall. You should tell which sections you will go to, Badaling, Mutianyu or others?

I am going to Badaling. If I take a bus from Forbidden City to Badaling, how would it cost?

You can first take bus no.5 at east of Tiananmen Square and arrive at the terminal station - Deshengmen Gate. The bus ticket costs CNY 1. At Deshengmen Gate, you can take bus no.919 to Badaling Great Wall. The bus ticket costs CNY 12 by cash and CNY 4.8 by Beijing Public Transportaion card.
