About:What to Buy in Quanzhou

How far is Datong from Beijing? would it be too much time and cost to do a 1 day visit by car from Beijing to the Yungang buddhist caves, then fly from Beijing to Xian?

According to the information I searched on the website, it is about 374 kilometers between Beijing and Datong, then it should be a very tiring and long journey by car. And 1 day is absolutely not possible to do the tour. Even you take train, it still takes 6.5 hours from Beijing to Datong.
