hello! i went to a travel agency who will fix my tourist visa to china, i told them that this is my first time to travel, they told me to bring bank certificate, SSS, employment certificate, and itr., is that true to bring those requirements? including also the invitation letter, round trip plane ticket, passport and form. can i apply visa by myself? can u send it to me by post? thanks a lot!

As far as I know, no bank statement, certificate, sss or employment certificated is needed when applyign for a China tourist visa. You may apply fo rthe visa youself, please see the info. from the official website of the China embassy in Philippines.

Hi! I am working here in China for 3 years and I just want to give you some advice.If you 're applying for a China tourist visa for the first time, you need a bank account statement,an NBI clearance, a round trip ticket, a proof of your hotel accomodation in China and a duly accomplished Chinese Visa application form with your picture on it.My husband just got his visa last month and he is here with me now. These were the documents required from him when he applied for his visa.Good luck!

I called the Chinese Consulate. It's my first time to apply for a Chinese tourist visa and i was told that they will need:1. passport2. 2x2 picture3. photocopy of roundtrip tix4. photocopy of hotel reservation5. bank certificatei just forgot to ask what if I will be staying with a friend who lives in China? I dont think they should be asking me of any proof of hotel reservation. Am I right?
