1. Properly and truthfully filled out Visa Application Form, to which one passport-size photo is attached,
2. Valid passport with blank pages and a photocopy of the data page, and
3. Round trip air-ticket, hotel reservation, traveler check and original invitation from an authorized Chinese travel agency.

Hi, Pierre Dallaire, Chinese embassy and cosulate in Canada do not accept mail application, but if you do not want to go in person, you can entrust others or travel agency to do it on your behalf.

You should provide your passport, appliction form, a recent passport photo, round-trip air tickets and hotel booking in China.
