Hi, I'm zana. i will fly end of this month for study at China register on 29or 30 august 09. Just got the offer several days ago. only waiting for the formal letter. During visa application, do I need to show the temporary offer letter as i'm afraid the formal offer letter will coming late. Kindly inform me. Thank you

The China embassy may requires the formal letter. You can apply fo rthe visa after you get the formal admission letter and the approved Foreign Student Visa Application Form (JW101 or JW202) issued by the Chinese authorized unit, the visa procedure only takes 4 working days anyway.
