About:Shanghai Travel

Dear sir/madam, I will be staying at the nanjing shanghai hotel in shanxi road south. I am traveling with a large suitcase from pudong airport. Is it convenient to take public transportation or should i take a taxi? And how much will the fare approximately be for a taxi?

Hi, take airport line 3 get off till you reach Longyang Road. then change to subway 2 and get off at Nanjing East Road. You hotel is nearby.

I just returned and took public transit to Pudong. The Maglev takes you to Metro line 2. This costs 50 RMB. The metro connection is convenient to the Maglev, cost is about 5 RMB. Escalators, no elevators, at stations. Taxi will cost more. Hotel may offer pick up but at much higher cost.
