About:Zhangjiajie Travel

Is 3rd week of Sep a good time to go Zhangjiajie?

Yes, it is find. The rain season has just pass and the weather is dry then. For the rain has gone, the temperature may be higher. Generally, it is averagely around 20C.

Hi Mr Leon,

Thanks for your reply I have another question ie. is it true that there is alot of walking required at Zhangjiajie? Is there a need to climb any mountain? My friends they have are not fit enough to climb but walking should be find with them. Appreciate your advise. For your info, most probably my group of friend going Zhangjiajie in end Sept 09.

Hi, Goh, Zhangjiajie is famous for its mountainou scenery, so climibing is a must. However, there are cable ways can help you to reach main peaks. Sedan chairs are also available, personly, I think it is ruthless, but sedan man live on that. You can try that if you do not mind to pay much more money. Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Cave and Baofeng Lake can be visited without much walking. You can try them too. :-)
