You can visit the great wall in many cities.
Beijing is the most popular choice, but you can visit older parts of the wall in the north where it's made of packed mud.
Cities like Hohhot in Inner Mongolia have more rural parts of the wall, Dandong in Jilin Province has part of the wall that borders North Korea0
