About:Shanghai Taxi

We are from Indonesia, we'll be traveling in beijing-shanghai-guangzhou this sept'09, we are all 5 people,we'll travel within each city mostly by taxi. and we'll get the taxi from the street. please advise if it's allowed in china to load 5 passengers in a normal cab/taxi ? we don't want to rent a van which is more expensive. what should we do to save the cost? Is there any bigger taxi available in each city in case normal-taxi cannot load 5 people? Many thanks for your info

Him Ms Nia, In mainland China, taxi is only allowed to take 4 people only (I knew that Hong Kong taxi can take 5 people). If one of you is little child, it may be possible. Suggest you to take subway while getting aroung the city in stead.
