i got admission as a phd student in feng chai university of taiwan.

Question

I got admission as a PhD student in Feng Chai University of Taiwan.Unfortunately there is no office as well as embassay of Taiwan in Islamabad,Pakistan.Chines embassay are not dealing with Taiwan visas. I am student and dont belive in state to state politics. I am keen to complete my PhD.Please guide me in detail how and where i can get Taiwan visa. Thank you so much. Please tell me the most detail and plausable solution.The arrival date is sept 7, 2009 and i have short time.Thank very much indeed.Ajmal, Pakistan

If you can't find any useful info. on the tourism bureau website, why not call them directly to get the directly answer?
