About:Chinese Ethnic Minority Festivals

We will be in Shangri-la from 14-16 Aug, will there be a torch festival celebration anywhere around this area.

There are usually three days for the festival and it just the time you are staying there. Most probably, the torch festival will be held in Chuxiong in yunnan. You can take a train or bus to there from Shangri-la.
Have a good time there!
