About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi! I'm an Australian citizen transiting through Beijing on a flight from Japan to Europe. I am only changing planes in Beijing - I am not exiting the airport or entering China. Do I still need a visa? If so, what kind of visa do I need? Thank you!

If you just stay within the airport for less than 24 hours when transitting Beijing, no visa is needed.
