About:Xian Suburban Bus

How long does the buses take to go to the terra cotta army, I am planning on getting an overnight train from Beijing arriving at 8:30 and then leaving back for Beijing the same evening, would I have enough time to see them and a little of Xian? I only have a limited time in china and so much to see, so want to see as much as I can.

As the bus to terracotta warriors leaves from the railway station square, so if you arrive at 8:30am, you'll arrive the terracotta at about 10am, allowing 2 or 3 hours visiting, you'll be back to the city at around 3pm. If your train leaves late, you'll have some time to visit the Provincial museum and Big wild goose pagoda, or have a walk on the city wall.

btw, the provincial museum now is free of charge, but with a limitation on visitor volume every day, so I'm not sure if you can enter it in the late afternoon.
