If you come to China to take part in a research conference, a F visa will be proper for you. The documents for the visa application are:
1. Valid passport of the applicant.
2. Completely filled-up China visa application form.
3. Original visa notice from the authorized unit of China.
4. Invitation letter from the organizer of the conference.
5. Your income certificate or bank statement.
6. Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pakistan.
It usually takes 4 working days fro the China embassy to process a visa.
