About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

Dear Sir,
I am a Pakistani business man and wants to visit China purely for business purpose to meet my potential business contacts . I have been able to get an invitation letter from one of my contacts with whom I have developed business relations . The letter has been issued by the Chinese government and I have been advised to contact the Chinese Consulate at Karachi . Is it possible that I may apply at Chinese Embassy at Islamabad ? will this letter , which is addressed to the Chinese Consulate Karachi , be accepted by the Chinese Embassy Islamabad ? I am a member of local Chamber of Commerce & Industry as well . What all documents I need to send with my application ?
