Hi there,I need to know is a air ticket to china required for rush visa application? I am traveling to HK and will have to go to shenzen there after by rail for business. I have all other documents in hand:the visa application, passport size picture. I was told i need a air ticket to china as well. I had made plans to fly to HK so I have a HK air ticket as I have business there to deal with and the business meeting in china is a last min plan - I am travelling mid next week. Please let me know on this requirement. Thank you.

Yes, the air ticket is necessary for visa application. Actually you are exempt of visa to Hk for up to 90 days. As for your visa to Shenzhen, it depends on how long you will stay there?
