About:Beijing Weather

I am planning a trip in Oct. and wanted to know what to include while visiting Beijing area. How distant is Shanghai? How many days for both? Also and advice on inexpensive lodging/safe area for both? I am taking my 22 yr. old son whom just graduated from college.Is all of October still fair climate?

Yes, the weather is mild both in Beijing and Shanghai during Oct. It is suggested that you stay in Beijing for 3~5days and then Shanghai 2~3 days. One week should be ok for visiting these two cities.
